Shelter
Improvements Continue
May 2008
The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is improving the
shelters look. The main shelter building just had a
much needed new roof installed by Alpine Roofing. The
roof was to replace the original roof which was built
in the late 1960's. In addition the shelter is now adding
new landscaping under the direction of Delta Humane
Society & S.P.C.A. Board President Stan Krafft.
If you would
like to see our progress please visit the main Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. shelter building located
at 4590 S. HWY 99 Frontage Road in Stockton, California,
Tuesday through Saturday 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

Dog
Socialization Area Update
May 2008
The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is currently building

Manager. The funds for this new area were previously
raised at Holly-ween 2006 and again in 2007. Currently
the project has built the surrounding fence and trenching
has begun for the sprinkler system.
The shelter
wishes to thank the Family and Friends of Holly Duncan
and Tracy Grainger for heading this project. If you
would like to see progress on this project or would
like more information about it please visit the Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. main shelter building
located at 4590 S. HWY 99 Frontage Road in Stockton,
California, Tuesday through Saturday 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

Canned
Food Supplies Low
May 2008
The Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is running out of canned
dog food and canned cat food. For the past few years
the shelter had been receiving canned food donations
from a supplier, but that has since stopped. Recent
economic issues in the Stockton area have also slowed
incoming donations to a near halt. We are asking the
public for help in donating canned dog and cat food
at this time. Remember all donations are tax deductible
and can be dropped off at the Delta Humane Society &
S.P.C.A. located at 4590 S. HWY 99 Frontage Road in
Stockton, California, Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am
to 5:00pm.

Gifting
Birthday Party
April 2008
The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. wishes to thank
10 year old Alexis Thatcher of Stockton for all the
gifts she donated to the shelter. Alexis had a Shelter
Gifting Party rather than a Birthday Party where she
accepted presents for the shelter rather than receive
gifts for herself.
Again
the Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. would like to
thank Alexis for her kindness and donation to the shelter.
