The Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is hosting it’s annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 15th, 2012 between 11am and 3pm. The public is invited to our main shelter for beverages, snacks, shelter tour, and a visit with Santa. Staff and volunteers will also be accepting gifts for the shelter and its residents during this event.
Our Wish List is available at this link. If you are unable to attend the event, donations may be dropped off ahead of time during our hours of operation. The Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is located at 4590 South Highway 99 Frontage Road in Stockton, California and is open from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Wednesday through Saturday.

Dash Festival 2011 on Saturday, June 11th, 2011.
Doggie Dash for the first time featured our brand new
Dachshund Race! Victory Park, where the event was held,
was filled with attendees and vendors of every sort.
Those that registered were allowed to participate in
our One Mile Fun Pledge Walk and the various Doggie
Contests that took place. The Delta Humane Society &
S.P.C.A. wishes to thank all volunteers, staff, attendees,
vendors, donors, local area publications and everyone
else who made Doggie Dash
2011 possible.

Humane @ Pet's on Parade
Saturday, June 18th, 2011 9am-1pm
The Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. will be at Pet's on Parade
on the Miracle Mile. This event is held by the Miracle
Mile Merchant Association and we are excited to be a
part of it. There will be several activities. Registration
is required for entry into the parade and contests.

The arena opens at 3:00pm and face off against the Idaho
Steelheads begins at 4:00pm The first 200 dogs in attendance
will receive a Doggie Bandana courtesy of Carter's Pet
Mart. While there feel free to stop off at the Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. table and say "Hello!"
to our shelter mascot Anubis and see what fun things
are happening at the Delta Humane Society! Also for

Open House 2010

The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. Holiday Open House

Garden and Dog Socialization Area.

The staff and volunteers accepted gifts on behalf of
the shelter residents. For those who missed the Open

Humane Society Purr Ball
Saturday, October 23rd, 2010
The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. Purr Ball was held
on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010. The fun this year took
place at the American Legion Ed Stewart Post #803 located
at 3110 West Lane in Stockton, California. Tickets were
only $25 per person for the nearly sold out event which
included a no-host bar, light appetizers, music and
dancing.
People were
asked to dress
to impress for the Costume Contests and they sure did.
We would like to thank those who won, bided on and purchased
raffle tickets for the various raffle prizes and silent
auction items. We wish to thanks all those who made
this event possible and remember all proceeds will benefit
the Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. and the homeless
animals at the shelter.

Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is having a Summer's End
Yard Sale on Friday, September 24th and Saturday, September
25th between 10am and 4pm. Come and check out what bargains
we will have and the treasures hidden amongst the many
items for sale. The sale itself will be held at our
main shelter facility located at 4590 S. Highway 99
Frontage Road in Stockton, California.

Humane Society Yard Sale Great Success!
Friday and Saturday, July 25-26th, 2010
The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. Yard Sale was a
great success. Most of the wonderful donated items were
sold. The items left over will be packaged and stored
for a future yard sale, date yet to be determined.
We want to
thank all those who donated items for the yard sale.
Also we want to thank the Delta Humane Society &
S.P.C.A. shelter staff and volunteers for setting up
and running this event. Lastly we want to thank all
the customers who came and hunted through the various
items we had for sale and found those hidden treasures
which they kindly purchased.
All proceeds
of this yard sale will directly benefit the residents
of the shelter.

The 2009 Delta Humane Society &
S.P.C.A. Purr Ball was a great success. The dancing
and fun begun around 6pm and lasted late into the night
at the Memorial Auditorium in Micke Grove Regional Park.
There were several wonderful costumes and several happy
winners in various costume competitions. Those who were
brave had their fortunes told by Madam Gypsy. Once the
evening came to a close the shelter had raised around
$2400 for the animals who would like express their thanks
to all those who attended and made this event possible.

Doggie
Dash Festival
2009
June 6th, 2009
The
Doggie Dash Festival raised over $29,500 last year for
the Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. This year's
event will be held on June 6th at Victory Park located
in Stockton, California off Pershing Avenue. Registration
will begin at 9:00am and the walk will start shortly
after. Early registration fee is $20 and event day registration
will be $25. Pet contests will take place in the following
categories: Best Kisser, Pet-Owner Look-a-Like, Best
Pet Trick, Most Unique pet, Most Obedient Pet and Obstacle
Course. In addition there will be a Pet Model Runway
Contest so dress up your pet and see if you win.
Even if you
do not have a pet you will want to stop by and visit
one of over 50 vendors that will be at the Doggie Dash
Festival. If you are feeling hungry at some point do
not worry as there will be food booths with lots of
tasty treats to purchase. Free water will be provided
for your pets.
For those
that missed last years event, it was carried Live on
Good
Day Sacramento with Alan
Sanchez and presented on Comcast On Demand. This
year this event will also be filmed for TV as well.

2008 Huge Success!

The Doggie
Dash Festival was a great success with over $29,500
raised! The Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. wishes
to thank the Doggie Dash participants, shelter staff,
volunteers, vendors, media and contributors who all
made this event possible. In addition the shelter wishes
to thank this year's major sponsors: Cooper Tires, Pacific

Doggie
Dash Festival 2008 was held on the morning of June 28th
at Nelson
Park located in the Brookside area of Stockton,
California. The event was carried Live on Good
Day Sacramento with Alan
Sanchez. Pet contests were held in various categories
and several prizes were awarded.
The
Doggie Dash Festival, previously known as Walk for the
Animals raised over $28,000 last year for the Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. This year's event will

Park located in the Brookside area of Stockton,

Event Raises Over $3000
October 20th, 2007
The
Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. hosted its second
Holly-ween Costume Ball on Saturday October 20th, 2007.
The event was to be held in memory of Holly Duncan,
Delta Humane Society Assistant
Manager who was killed by injuries sustained in an automobile
collision on the way to work on January 13th, 2006.
Tickets were $25 per person for the fun-filled evening
at the Stockton Empire Theater, located on the Miracle
Mile at 1825 Pacific Avenue in Stockton. The evening
itself raised at least $3000 and the figures are still
being added up.
Music, provided
by DJ Rita started at 7pm and the dancing was kicked
off by 8pm. Several prizes were available in a raffle
with tickets that were available for purchase throughout
the evening. Prizes for costumes were awarded for Best
Costume, Best Couple, Scariest Person, Funniest, most
Original and Best Animal. There were an estimated 200
people throughout the evening as the party continued
hard until closing time at 11pm.

in the Vineyards
Raises an Estimated $5000
September 7th, 2007
The Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A. hosted its Evening in
the Vineyards on Friday, September 7th, 2007. The wine,
dinner, live music, silent auction and fun began at
6pm and lasted until about 8:30pm at the Peirano Vineyards
located north of Lodi at 21831 N. Highway 99 at the
Acampo exit. Tickets were $40 per person. Raffle tickets
were also available for purchase for some wonderful
prizes.

Walk
for the Animals Raises an Estimated $28,000
The
Walk for the Animals, previously known as Doggie Dash
raised an estimated $28,000 beating last year's $26,000
for the Delta Humane Society. The fun filled event began
at 9:00 a.m., August 4th, 2007. Nearly a hundred people
showed at Nelson
Park in the Brookside area of Stockton, California
making this one of the most successful Walk for the
Animals. We wish to thank Alan
the Intern of Good Day Sacramento for carrying the
event live on the Saturday morning broadcast of Good
Day Sacramento as well as the staff of the Delta
Humane Society & S.P.C.A., volunteers, vendors,
contributors and entrants who made this event possible.

The Walk
for the Animals, previously known as Doggie Dash raised
over $26,000 last year for the Delta Humane Society.
The fun filled event will begin at 9:00 a.m., August
4th, 2007 at Nelson

Hawaiian Nights raised nearly $1700

Humane Society and S.P.C.A. hosted its first Hot Hawaiian
Nights event. The fun filled evening in a lush tropical
outdoor setting was on the night of Friday, July 20th.
There were cocktails, hors d'oeuvre's, silent auctions
and live entertainment by Gentle Wind. Tickets were
only $35. The Delta Humane Society & S.P.C.A. wishes
to thank Sharon Harlowe of Stockton, California for
hosting this event.

The 16th
Annual Delicato Wine Tasting will be held on Friday,
May 4th, 2007 from 5:30pm until 7:30pm at the Delicato
Vineyards. Tickets are available at $15.00 per person
for an evening filled with wine and prizes. Last years
